A few days ago, someone got to this blog by searching these words on Google: “I quit my life”.

Trust Jesus

When I saw that, the first thing that came to my mind was to pray for that person, whoever he/she was.

And then I decided to write a few lines in case this person comes back. Or in case someone else searches for the same keywords and gets here.

If this is how you are feeling now, this is for you, whoever you are…

Hi there. I won’t pretend to know what you’re going through, because I don’t. I won’t pretend to be able to counsel you or something, because I can’t.

I can only tell you what I know for sure: no matter what you’re going through, you can get over it. It doesn’t seem so now, I am sure, otherwise you wouldn’t be thinking of giving up.

Maybe you have no one. Maybe you lost the people you trusted, or maybe you’ve never had anyone you could truly trust.

I don’t mean to get religious on you, but I have to share what I know and what I am absolutely positive about: you can trust in JESUS. For real!

Maybe you were hurt by someone from a church. Maybe you tried to get help from someone at a church, and it didn’t work out.

I have to tell you this: we Christians try, but most often we fail to live as Jesus wants us to live. I apologize for that. I apologize for the people that let you down. I apologize for myself, because I know that I let a lot of people down, and unfortunately I know that I will do that again in the future.

But Jesus is not like that. He won’t let you down. I promise. Because even if He doesn’t get you out of whatever situation you’re in now or soon, He is right there with you, for as long as it takes.

You’re not alone, you can be sure of that. No matter where you are or what you are going through, you are most definitely not alone.

May I pray for you?

Dear Lord, I come to You for my dear reader now, who’s going through a struggle, a tough time. I don’t know exactly what it is, but You do. They don’t see a solution other than quitting.

Right now, I ask you to comfort them. Let them feel Your presence somehow, Lord. Let them know that You are near, that they’re not alone.

Turn their darkness into the brightest light, as only You can do.

I trust You. Please show my dear reader that they can trust You too.

Show Yourself to them as You did for me some time ago.

Let them know You care.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God bless, you, dear! And don’t give up, please!
